How gifts are opened, who can see them, what you can put inside, and how secret questions work.
Opening a gift
For recipients.
Does the recipient need an account or an app?
No. They open the link in any modern browser and the gift plays right there.
Will it work on my phone?
Yes — on iPhone, Android, tablets and computers. Rendering adapts to the device, and browsers without 3D still show the message and everything inside.
The gift asks a question. What do I do?
The sender added a secret question only you should know. Type your answer; if it's right, the gift opens. There may be a hint.
How long does my gift stay active?
Your gift remains active for 30 days from the moment you publish it, not from the date of purchase, so you can pay first and publish later. After expiration, you have 7 days to activate a one-time free extension for an additional 30 days. Once the final access period ends, personal content is deleted and only the reusable gift design remains in your account history.
The link says the gift expired or isn't shared.
Gifts stay open for a limited time, and senders can turn links off. Ask the sender to share it again — the same link will work.
Privacy and safety
Who can see what.
Who can see my gift?
Only people with the link — and, with a secret question, only those who answer correctly. Gift links are excluded from search engines.
How are secret answers stored?
As a one-way secure hash, never as text. Nobody can read them back, not even the sender.
Are uploaded files safe?
Every file is checked by its contents: images are re-encoded (removing GPS and camera data), documents are inspected for scripts and macros, and unsafe files are refused.
Can I take a gift down?
Yes. Stop sharing it, give it a new link, archive it or delete it from your dashboard at any time.
Creating
For senders.
Do I need an account to create or buy a gift?
No. Design and preview your gift for free, then pay as a guest with just your email. An account is optional — it keeps your gifts in one place.
What can I put inside?
In a gift box: messages, up to 15 photos, voice recordings and songs, up to 3 short videos, PDFs and documents, tickets and gift codes. In a 3D card: your message, up to 3 photos inside (plus the cover) and one audio greeting of up to 60 seconds.
Can I edit a gift after sharing it?
A gift you've sent stays exactly as it was sent, so the recipient never sees a half-finished change. Edit the design and send it again: each card or box includes up to 3 separate sends, each with its own link.
Is box4you.online available in Bulgarian?
Yes — the whole interface is available in English and Bulgarian. Your own messages are never translated.
